Mill Fabrics has been part of Hitchin since 1978 – a family business making and fitting curtains, blinds and soft furnishings for homes across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. Measuring and fitting are always carried out by our own team, and most of what we sell is made right here in our workroom.
We keep an extensive range of fabric samples in the shop, covering curtains, blinds and hardware, and we’re genuinely happy to talk you through the options rather than just take an order. If you’re not sure what you need, that’s exactly what we’re here for.
Our shop on Churchyard Walk holds an extensive collection of fabric sample books, bespoke curtains, blind systems, upholstery swatches, and hardware, all conveniently located under one roof. There is simply no substitute for seeing a fabric in natural daylight, comparing patterns side by side, and feeling the true weight and texture in your hands before deciding on the right finish.
